Women’s Vocal Ensemble · Mitchell Covington, Artistic Director

Voci Auditions

As we kick off our 26th season, Voci Women’s Vocal Ensemble is seeking experienced choral singers to join our intimate, high-level treble ensemble of 24+ singers. We perform adventurous music from a wide range of historical periods. We also regularly promote and commission music for, and by, women.

Join us and become part of a talented group of singers — and part of a wonderful, warm, fun community of women.

This fall we are delighted to be joined by the Jubilate Baroque Orchestra and soprano MacKenzie Covington to present “Rejoice! Rejoice!” — a concert of sacred renaissance and baroque masterworks. Featuring stunning works by Bach, Charpentier, Hasse, Porpora, Cozzolani, and Victoria.

Voci rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:00 PM in Orinda, and performs primarily in the East Bay.

Additional retreats and/or rehearsals are scheduled during the season.

2017–18 concert dates are December 3, 9 & 10, February 11, and April 15 & 21.

Fall rehearsals begin Wednesday, September 6.
